Ampicillin Trihydrate + Colistin Sulphate + Dexamethasone
Ampicillin Trihydrate is a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic that interferes with bacterial cell wall synthesis. Colistin Sulphate is a polymyxin antibiotic that disrupts bacterial cell membrane integrity. Dexamethasone is a corticosteroid that has potent anti-inflammatory and immunosuppressive properties.
This combination drug is indicated for the treatment of infections caused by bacteria susceptible to the combination of Ampicillin and Colistin, like intestinal-, respiratory- and urogenital infections, Mastitis, Metritis, Arthritis and secondary infections during the course of viral diseases.
For intramuscular administration. Shake well before use.
- General dose: 1 ml / 10-15 kg B.W.
- Frequency: Once daily, for 3 days.
This medication is generally well tolerated in animals at the recommended dosage.
WITHDRAWAL TIME
- Calves: 14 days.
- Swine and cows: 21 days.
- Milk: 03 days.
Contraindication
Do not use for hypersensitive animals to any component.
None known.
Do not administer to animals with renal dysfunctions, newborns, small. herbivores (like rabbits and guinea pigs).
