Amoxicillin + Colistin
Amoxicillin + Colistin is an antibacterial combination product containing amoxicillin, a broad-spectrum penicillin antibiotic, and colistin, a polymyxin antibiotic. Amoxicillin acts by inhibiting the synthesis of bacterial cell walls while colistin acts by disrupting the bacterial cell membrane, leading to cell death.
Amoxicillin + Colistin is indicated for the treatment of bacterial infections in animals caused by susceptible strains of Gram-negative and Gram-positive bacteria, including respiratory infections, gastrointestinal infections, urinary tract infections, and skin infections.
