Bacitracin Zinc + Neomycin Sulphate
It is a combination medication used topically against bacterial infection. It is available as powder and cream for topical administration.
Adult:
- As cream containing 3300 units/g of neomycin and 250 units/g of bacitracin zinc: Apply a thin layer up to 3 times daily.
- As powder containing 5000 units/g of neomycin and 250 units/g of bacitracin zinc: Apply 2-4 times daily.
- Hypersensitivity reactions.
- Possibility of ototoxicity and nephrotoxicity if used in large quantities or on large areas for prolonged use.

- hearing impaired
- extensive skin damage.
- Avoid application in large quantities and prolonged use.
- Do not use if tympanic membrane is perforated.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to aminoglycosides, such as-
Bacitracin Zinc + Neomycin Sulphate should not be used in infants and in patients with pre existing nerve deafness.
