Ascorbic Acid + Betaine + Calcium Chloride Dihydrate + Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate + Sodium Chloride + Potassium Chloride

Ascorbic Acid + Betaine + Calcium Chloride Dihydrate + Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate + Sodium Chloride + Potassium Chloride is a veterinary preparation.

  • Ascorbic acid: Also known as Vitamin C, is necessary for the growth, development and repair of all body tissues. It's involved in many body functions, including formation of collagen, absorption of iron, the proper functioning of the immune system, wound healing, and the maintenance of cartilage, bones, and teeth.
  • Betaine: Betaine has been shown to act as an osmoprotectant and methyl group donor in the body. Betaine appears to have anti-inflammatory properties in a variety of disorders, according to growing research.
  • Calcium Chloride Dihydrate (Calcium): Calcium regulates muscle contraction. It is the principle constituent of bone and teeth. It also plays important role in wound healing.
  • Magnesium Chloride Hexahydrate:  Magnesium is a cofactor in more than 300 enzyme systems that regulate diverse biochemical reactions in the body, including protein synthesis, muscle and nerve function, blood glucose control, and blood pressure regulation.
  • Potassium Chloride: Potassium maintains the normal fluid balance inside our cells. It also helps our muscles to contract and maintain proper blood pressure.
  • Sodium Chloride: Sodium is the main electrolyte of the extracellular fluid. It helps to maintain extracellular fluid level, aids in muscle contraction, conduct nerve impulse and maintain optimum blood pressure.

It is used in poultry to protect them from heat stress and dehydration.

  • For Prevention of heat stress/ dehydration:
1 litre of the formulation per 1000 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days, starting 2 days before the onset of the hot period.
  • For Control:
1 litre of the formulation per 500 litres of drinking water for 3 – 5 days.
