Selenium
Selenium is a mineral found in different foods. It has a very good antioxidant property that protects cells from damage caused by free radicals. Selenium insufficiency has been linked to problems with human growth and reproduction. Myodegenerative disorders, such as muscular weakening, are linked to moderate deficiency. Low selenium levels have been linked to depression, anxiety, and confusion.
Selenium is indicated for the following conditions-

Sodium selenate is generally well tolerated. Occasionally, the following side effects may appear-
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Diarrhea
- Bad breath
- Selenium supplementation have been linked to an increased risk of skin cancer. As a result, persons who are at a high risk of developing skin cancer should avoid using these supplements.
- Selenium overdose can be fatal.
Contraindication
Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any component of the formulation.
There is no known contraindications of the preparation in terms of food and drinks.
